Asbestos & Mold Remediation/Abatement
Asbestos fibers can cause serious health problems. If asbestos fibers are inhaled, these tiny microscopic fibers can cause normal functions of the lungs to be disturbed. Exposure increases the risk of developing lung cancer, mesothelioma, or asbestos, which is a scarring of the lungs that leads to breathing problems. It could take anywhere from 15 to 30 years after the first exposure for symptoms to occur. Medical investigations have shown that inhalation is the principal route of entry that leads to asbestos-related diseases.
Eagle Environmental Solutions' employees comply with both OSHA and NESHAP worker’s training requirements and have a representative trained as a Contractor/Supervisor to comply with the OSHA and NESHAP regulations on-site. Samples of materials are removed and tested by a competent laboratory. If asbestos is found, abatement procedures will be performed.
** With all environmental services offered by Eagle Environmental Solutions, we suggest and prefer that an independent industrial hygienist (IH) be involved to ensure proper protocol for every job.
Mold remediation is not something we suggest you try and carry out yourself. Not only is there a chance that you might not completely remove the mold, but you may actually end up in spreading the mold spores and you end up being in a worse position than before you started.
So do yourself a favor, and if you suspect your building has mold and/or mildew problems, call us at 877-34-EAGLE (877-343-2453) today, and we’ll send an expert to investigate the extent of the problem.
